The birth of MIRACLE LUXE VIRGIN EXTENSIONS came from a lifelong love affair with hair.
From an early age Miracle Judd, creator of MIRACLE LUXE, expressed a passion for hair styling. In the early 90’s she marveled at the idea of being able to extend her hair length or add volume, with extensions. She installed her first extensions on herself in the 7th grade, and by college, she was well- known in her community as the “hair girl” and trusted as a skilled extensionist.
In college and graduate school, she worked in the largest Korean-owned beauty supply store in her city. As an undergrad, she was one of the first women of color to work behind the counter and naturally built a reputation for her extensive knowledge of hair extensions and products. She began to see repeat customers that would purchase hair extensions each month based on her recommendations. She quickly learned her influence was found in her ability to style hair well, and her ability to speak to various characteristics of the hair she was selling. This experience was the catalyst of her desire to offer a quality hair product.
After graduation, she worked in her field, but solicitation of her opinion of hair brands and styles never ended. Eventually, she worked in management for a major hair distribution company for 2 years. Exposure to the corporate practices taught her sourcing and supply chain within the industry, but she didn’t agree with all aspects of the business. Transitioning from that experience, she took time to get a second degree; studying Lean/ Six Sigma methodologies, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations. She received a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems engineering in 2016 and began consulting other businesses on methodologies to become efficient. All of her research and networking eventually led to a business partner in Vietnam, and later, in India. She was finally able to customize, source, and manufacture a quality product she loved- and wanted share.
In December of 2017, MIRACLE LUXE VIRGIN EXTENSIONS was launched.
